Helstrom: Community Management Strategy

The highly anticipated series Helstrom enlisted our social team to build a community management strategy throughout the entirety of its campaign. I led a team of copywriters in developing a show-specific tone of voice and audience interaction strategy to build viewership affinity and and intrigue for potential fans.

We collaborated with Hulu’s design team to develop social copy that was ominous and integrated 𝖙𝖍𝖊𝖒𝖊𝖉 text choices to establish character for the brand. Our community efforts also included talent/press engagement, fan art sourcing, live tweeting, and daily interactions with the show’s dedicated hashtag across all platforms.

I oversaw the team’s GIF creation, approving and identifying the best moments from the episodes to feature on Hulu’s Giphy page, where our GIFs averaged over 70k views.

+Bonus

I led our social team in producing a series of Instagram Live’s featuring the cast. Our role was to source top fan questions via social for talent to answer during the live. We created a game plan that included optimal times to go live, a step-by-step instruction guide for talent to follow when live, and social content to promote the Q&A’s.
