I oversaw multiple campaigns for EPIX, including the launch strategies for newly acquired series’ Britannia and War of the Worlds. Alongside a team of social media coordinators and producers, we were responsible for building the social strategy to drive awareness for each of the series set to launch into their second season. Our creative tactics included character introductions, plot timelines, and highlights from each of the show’s inaugural seasons to help put the pieces together for new fans.

Instagram Stories Strategy

To help tell the story of the fantasy worlds in Britannia, a team of social producers and I developed an Instagram Story highlights section dedicated to each of the four kingdoms in the series.

Our partnership with EPIX included active monitoring of & engagement with fan tweets about the show. Using social listening, our team was able to identify fan favorite characters and build content based on our findings, including GIF-able moments for the show’s official Giphy page. We also kept abreast of current social trends to develop timely posts for EPIX’s main account.

For War of the Worlds, our team developed a launch strategy that set an ominous tone for the drama and action series.

Character Intros

We collaborated with a team of designers to produce a set of character intro cards to help tell the story of War of the Worlds. I oversaw social copy and content rollout in the days leading to premiere.

Ahead of each episode, we used the show’s theme of survival to create an interactive Instagram Stories series for fans to put themselves into the show. I led our team in identifying the best moments and writing in-asset copy to build intrigue.
